About Heze University

Heze Medical College is situated in the northern edge of Heze City, close to the lovely Heze Peony Garden. It is a full-time provincial undergraduate university with over 67 years of proud history. The university’s history dates back to the early part of 1949 when the Second Normal School was set up in the Jiluyu District. It changed hands several times and expanded, changing from the Pingyuan Provincial Heze Normal School to the Heze Specialized Normal School. In 2004, it was named officially as Heze Medical College after the merger of five institutions, namely Heze Normal School, Heze Education College, Heze Radio and Television University, Heze Teachers’ Training College, and Heze Agricultural College.

Heze University has subsequently evolved to become a comprehensive university, transitioning from a teacher-training institution to a multidisciplinary academic institution.
